The cast for the first Butterfly Effect was amazing and that's surely, in part, what ruins the second movie.

It's obvious that the TBE2 cast does its best -but- there should've been a major star in this sequel because the first release worked so well.

Maybe the next such movie will address this lack of acting experience (not talent) issue. We'll have to wait and see...

It must've been a blast making this movie as the setting is so funny!

Jack Black, as Ignacio, makes for the most awkward "Romeo" in modern history. Between his love for lucha libre wrestling and Sister Encarnacion, he feel he still must care for kids at the orphenage. So many responsibilities, so little time!

Bond is slick in this one and what adds to the truthfulness of the main character is that he comes so close to dying. He therefore appears to be more "human" and this helps connect, in a "moviegoing sense", with "the new Bond".

In so many ways, this movie could've been made into a documentary but fortunately, the entertainment value is left untouched and this movie remains quite interesting.

For anyone used to eat in fast food chains, the content of this movie might turn out to be a powerful motivation, in and of itself, to look elsewhere for that next "tasty little lunch" ; )
